I watched as the little thing’s chest rose and fell. From the moment we began our journey back to the castle, she had fallen asleep. Before that, she seemed a bit off, but I didn’t have the heart to question her about what was wrong.
"Aurora…" I murmured as I watched her. "Do you know what you do to me?"
How could she lie there so defenseless with a man in the same area? She was peacefully oblivious to the monster that could attack her at any given minute.
"You need to pay more attention." I continued, slowly getting up from my seat and making my way over to her.
I didn’t know what was coming over me. This close together, her smell was everywhere and it was so damn intoxicating. Sitting, I studied her slim neck with skin so porcelain white it was almost translucent.
