I stared down into the icy blue sea of the little thing’s eyes as she continued to watch me with both worry and weariness. "Lux?" She repeated her soothing voice, attempting to draw me back to reality. "Are you okay?" "I’m not sure, honestly." I murmured as my ears began to ring. Was I okay? No, I wasn’t.
