THE SIDE CHICK GAME

ME OR HER?

Smith arrived at home after what it felt like a forever drive since he couldn't focus, thinking that Sarah was having an affair only to console himself from all the bad things he's been doing.he kept on blaming sarah for everything, he wanted her to be the guilty one.

Few hours later sarah also arrived. Mitchell saw sarah driving in and went to block her before she could anter the house.

Mitchell: "ohh dear are you okay? You are back....., umhh your husband also arrived sot so long ago, he looked.........., Umh sorry for asking too much i was worried about you since.... Um u know our last conversation...., are u okay?."

Sarah :" yes I'm fine. We'll talk later."

Sarah quickly went inside the house.

Smith was sitting on the couch holding a glass of water on his hand, the room was so quiet. sarah passed him and went upstairs to the bedroom without saying anything.

He angrily stood up and followed her to the bedroom while shouting " ohh so you're just going to act like there's nothing we have to talk about?, tell me something for how long have you been doing this affair of yours behind my back?, ohh u better start talking!!.

She kept quiet, changed her clothes, switched off the light on her side of the bed and got into the bed . Smith slammed the door, went downstairs and slept on the couch. While sarah slept herself to sleep.

The next morning she woke up early, took a shower and left. Smith was woken up by the sound of the car driving off, he quickly went to the bedrooms, only to find it empty.

He quickly took his phone, called sarah but she didn't pick up the call. His hands started shaking, knowing that it was Sunday and sarah never worked on sundays made him tremble. He then called belinda and told her everything that happened

Belinda replied: "ohh so why are you worried about this whole thing?, You were about to divorce her right?,or you still love her?, i think this is the right time for you to end things with her so that we could take this relationship to another level. Listen smith I'm tired of being your side chick, so its either me or her so choose!!. " she hung up the phone.

Smith stood there confused with the phone on his hand.

After a some few minutes he then called his mom

Smith :" Mom i need to talk to you........ ... I'm getting divorced. "

Susan :( smith's mother)" slow down, what's wrong? What happened?, can i come over so we can sit down and talk about this whole thing?."

Smith : " what's the point of talking about it?, she's not even here to talk about it, she woke up left to her so called boyfriend. Yeah she's having an affair i saw her mom....

Susan : " what are you talking about? Sarah she's here with us right now she came to pick up the kids so i asked her to stay and have breakfast with us, do you want to talk to her?, should i give her the phone?."

Smith cuts off the call.

Susan then went back to the dinning room still stunned about what his son said. She told sarah that her husband was the one calling but never told her what he said. She then later asked sarah to talk to her in private.

She asked if everything was fine between her and smith. Sarah then told susan everything she's been going through in her marriage and what recently happened when she was on ther business trip. Susan was ashamed of his son's behavior, she was speechless.

Susan then called his husband (Mike) and told him everything, then they both decided to go back with Susan so that they can try talk to them.

When they arrive Susan took the kids upstairs to theirs playroom, while smith, Sarah and mike remain seated in the kitchen. When Susan returned the discussion started. When sarah was about to speak smith quickly stopped her.

Smith: "ohh cut of the pitty act we don't have time for whatever you want to say, i just want to know for how long have you been cheating on me thats all."

Sarah ignore him then continued explaining what happened.

Smith was embarrassed when she heard her saying the man he tought it was her lover was actually her supervisor. He then t lowered his voice blaming sarah for not telling her all the details about her business trip or who she was traveling with. He then asked for forgiveness saying that his relationship with Belinda was not serious he was just feeling lonely since sarah was hardly at home or giving him attention.

He promised them that he will end things with belinda and he's willing to change his behavior and fix his married with his wife. But sarah played and was not willing to forgive smith. She just agree to starting afresh for the sake of her kids.

After a long conversation and smith's parents reprimanding their song, finally the conversation was over and settled.

That knight after smith's parents left everything was awkward. Smith tried to show sarah that he's now a changed man and willing to fix everything. He then told sarah to sit down and relax while he went to the kitchen and prepared dinner. Yeah dinner lol. Its was his first time preparing dinner for his family, the kitchen was so messy.

Sarah fetched the kids upstairs, then started setting up the table. After the meal, smith took the kids to bed, rhen asked sarah if he could join her for shower. But Sarah turned down the request saying it was too early for that.

They both went to sleep. This time cuddling.

On the other hand texts kept pooping on smith's phone the whole night.

"why are u ignoring me"

" have you told her"

"Don't get me angry!!"

"you know i love u right? "

The following morning they were both woken up a sound of text from belinda

"have you decided?."

Smith ignored the text and continued cuddling his wife.

After a while sarah woke up, and started getter ready for work.

Smith insisted that he will take the kids to school. Sarah was happy to hear that.

Sarah took her bag heading to the door, the moment she opened the door, belinda was standing in front of the door.

Belinda :"ohh.. is Smith at home?. Anyways good morning."
