He was eloquent and touching, telling the story of Sarah’s life as if he’d been with her every step of the way. He spoke of her as father does his daughter, with love and pride. When he had nothing left, when his heart was laid open for her and for me, he let Sarah’s life play out before our eyes. The song "Sarah" from Fleetwood Mac began to play softly. Somehow, Charlie had gotten all the photos from Sarah's friends. There were photos from her yearbooks and news articles. I saw so many beautiful pictures of Sarah that I didn't even know existed.
