I went back to sit on the chair and played with the food this time. I couldn't stop thinking about who might be at the door.
Hearing the door open, I heightened my senses to hear the sounds that came from it. It was a man and I haven't heard the voice before.
Who could that be?
I heard the footsteps and they were getting closer, refraining from listening. I turned back to the food.
