Wolf looked around, "Where's Shadow? Where's the Wolverine?"
"He's around," Grace replied. "He's been running with the Viking."
"Mother and the other knights have been out helping defend the village," Red replied. "They left me in charge of defending the students; at least what the Northmen don't do. The professors and Dr. Johnson aren't worth much when bullets fly."
"At least I kept my students safe," Dr. Johnson said, stepping up from a ditch.
"Hardly!" Red exclaimed. "We kept those bandits from entering the camp."
