At midnight Wolf and Grace came up onto the wall to relieve the two pages and Shadow accompanied them. Shadow climbed up onto the outer edge of the wall to get a better look of the rapidly forming camp.
"Master Wolf, if I may say so that wolf may come in handy if there is trouble."
"He won't attack people if that is what you're thinking," replied Wolf.
"He'll scare people who cause problems. You had better introduce him to the Constabulary first thing."
"I'll help you," Grace volunteered, "after all I have his daughter. I just wish I could have brought her."
"You have a wolf too?" the yeoman asked. "What is this world coming too?"
"She is only half wolf. She is so sweet."
