Once the two pages were in their tent, they set about drafting their reports, describing the events of the day. They did not include any suspicion of Wayne's involvement. Harold and George entered the tent to make ready for lights out. Harold asked, "Where have you been? They sent us out to look for you." Wart told them the whole story. He concluded, "We've got to get Wayne. He's got to pay for what he did." George grimaced, "Revenge, like what you're thinking about isn't good. I think we should just wait a week and see what happens." "We've got to see if you were exposed to the ivy. You had better see the nurse first thing in the morning. Whatever you do, don't scratch," suggested Harold. Those words had the opposite effect; Wart and Wolf suffered the urge to scratch any little itch
