"MONDRAGON," the teacher called Lily's last name.
Sharpay looked at her back and saw that Lily was not in her seat.
Rosie was looking at Jesu. Just appreciating the latter's beauty. She did not even notice that Lily was missing.
"Mondragon?" the teacher called once again. Everyone in the room is now looking at Lily's seat. It was vacant. "Kirby, did you see your best friend? Where is she?"
"I-i am not sure, teacher. Maybe she's in the comfort room. You know, doing nature's call," Jesu tried to joke around but she was actually getting nervous. She is having a bad feeling about Lily's absence.
"Perhaps," the teacher replied. "Okay, let's just continue with our previous lesson. Mondragon can catch up later."
The teacher continued the lecture but Jesu can't concentrate as her best friend
