"WHAT DID you say?" I asked Lily who is still lying on the hospital bed.
The bill was cleared but we are still waiting for the doctor for his final say about the results and medication of Lily.
"You heard me, Nini," she said firmly.
"No! I don't agree with that. I won't let this pass!" I was really angry about how Lily was calmly and lightly taking this situation. "Uncle Prim, please do something about those people who did this to Lily. Don't let the police retreat on the investigation."
I was really angry. I am furious to those people who hurt Lily. How dare them!
Uncle Primo did not say anything. He just looked at me with that sorry look. I looked to my mom for back up but she just shook her head and by the looks of it, she looked like she was telling me to back down.
