PULL ME OUT

~Madison O'Brien~ Everything that has happened to me this past few months has brought me to the conclusion that, for a fact life isn't fair. I mean when will life ever be fair? "When you've grown grey hair and have shaky bones with no husband and just a cat" my bestfriend and workmate", Becky said while cleaning her glasses. I momentarily rolled my eyes at her arranging my stuff in a big brown box and yup! I am packing "It's still not fair when that happens" i replied matter of factly "What happened isn't right at all" she breathed out while putting on her glasses. I shrugs cleaning my desk. Yup i was fired, for trying to do what's right.. urgh still thinking about it makes me want to hit someone real hard. The principal at Billie high where i am teaching, i mean was teaching had a thing for me. Like gross i f*****g had no idea that old thing was ogling at me for a long time now!. Well that was what he told me himself, he was only holding himself back because i was married. "Was" married Okay a small peak into my life:::,, I Am a divorcee. Was once a happily married woman, married to her highschool sweetheart, he was everything i could ever ask for until i lost our first baby. He changed Well, that's a touching story for me, let's just stick to why i was fired and packing. Principal Bradford tried hitting on me in his office and i smacked him real hard. I mean, I am still mourning my baby, the only reason i still come to work is because i need something to distract myself. And hence he fired me... like i care "Will miss you maddy!" Becky said softly as i smiled at her. Becky and i automatically clicked when i started working here as a teacher, she helped me out when everything was really tough and all that. Becky isn't married, she's 26 alot older than me Everyone keeps saying i said "i do" too quickly and now i am starting to see that's true.. what ever happened to the saying "seize the moment"? I never thought anything would go wrong or that i was too young. I left everything and everyone i called family behind cause they were against Matthew and i. Let's just say i was young dumb and naive highschool kid! Now that sounds familiar ha! "But...... have you called them? You know to let them know ya coming back?" She asked typing on her phone. I sighed deeply picking up the picture frame of my family, my mom dad and elder sister Ashley. I was the happy and goofy child of the family..... then matt happened. I was totally swept off the ground by him, he was everything down to his height, skin, cute brown eyes, his smiles. I almost choked on my salad when he popped the question " Will you marry me?" Almost! Now back to Becky. "Yes, Ashley has already found me a job at our town school, an homeroom teacher, mom and dad knows i am coming.... they are.... excited. More like they were praying for Matt and i to crash" i mumbled the last part as Becky sighed "He was really a nice guy..... what f*****g happened?" "Baby happened". ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Back at my apartment, I've packed everything, burned all the pictures of matt and i, gave out the baby stuff we bought before.... i sat down drinking coffee while waiting for the divorce documents to show up. I mean, it wasn't my fault that i lost the baby, i wasn't ready to be a mom yet, i tried to talk him out of it, but he wasn't listening, he was so excited that i decided to go with the pregnancy until i got an accident and lost it and he changed Comes home drunk, or sleep out sometimes bring in different ladies and when i tried talking with him, he hits me but not anymore. I need to leave. It had to stop and divorcing and suing him for abuse was all i could do. The door bell rang as i ran towards it. I need my own share of the paper Smiling sadly, i took the document and close the door It's time to go back home.
