The First Meeting

She was not looking at all interested to select any wedding gown, it was taking too long, so I decided to select one for her.
There was this white coloured multilayered floor length gown, which caught my attention. It was a beautiful yet elegant gown. It has a long veil also.
I showed her the gown & without any further ado, she took it & went straight to changing room.
When she came out from trial room, I was dumbfounded. She was looking like an angel.
I paid for the dress & took her to a stylist instructed the stylist to make her a perfect bride ASAP.
I was left with only ten more minutes when I received a phone call from Sam again.
“Ethan, where are you? You have to be here in five minutes man along with that girl. We don’t have much time.”
He was in a hurry.
“I know Sam. I am just making her look like a perfect bride. She should look like ‘would be Mrs. Carten’ you know” I was getting irritated now.
“Ok, Ok just bring her ASAP” He cut the call.
I sighed and looked at my phone. I was really running short of time. So I asked the stylist to just finish it off.
I paid to the stylist and make her sit on the passenger seat. She was wearing her veil perfectly & it was hard to see her face.
I started the engine & pressed hardly on the gas. I have to reach there within five minutes. There was not much traffic on the road which made it easier for me & I really was able to make there in time.
As soon as I reached there, I received a call.
Ok it was expected, Sam was punctual as hell.
“Ethan, You are supposed to be here till now” he was saying as if gritting his teeth.
“Well I am already here boss.” I chuckled. I can hear releasing a long breathe even on phone, so he was anxious.
SAMUAL CARTER for once was anxious!! Well he should be.
“Bring her towards the back door, I am coming with Luis.” He cut the call not even hearing me. He is like that only.
I parked my car near the back door and I can see Sam was already waiting there with Luis.
He jogged towards my car with Luis. He was looking anxious a bit but was able to mask his expressions.
He glanced towards me & then towards the passenger seat.
“So she is the girl” he asked me. I nodded.
“Just meet your bride for once before your marriage” I smirked.
“Well I don’t need that & you know that. Had you told her anything about the contract?” He asked.
“Not exactly, but I told her that she need to sign some papers before marriage”. I answered him honestly.
“Did she stated her conditions”, Sam was a little impatient.
“Why don’t you ask her by yourself” I was getting a bit irritated now.
“Fine, I will go & ask........ What was her name again?” I rolled my eyes. He doesn’t even know her name. Well how he could, he never asked about it! “Sandra” was my short reply. He nodded.
He went towards the passenger seat with Luis & opened the door.
Sandra was sitting there like a statue.
Luis gave her the file & was explaining her about the contract, when she opened the file & signed it without even reading it!!!
Both of them were having shocking expressions on their faces. But Sam recovered quickly & asked Luis to make another copy of the contract for her to keep. He nodded (even if he was in shock now also) & left.
Sam came towards me & told me that he had already told his & Eric’s parents that he had a girlfriend with whom he had broken up because of this marriage & now when Eric had eloped, he should marry his girlfriend.
“You have to confirm my story to my parents if they ask you, Ethan.”
“Did they believed you? Everyone knows that you were not involved with any girl since......” I was cut off by Sam. “No Ethan! Just don’t” he warned me. I sighed. It was a sensitive topic.
“OK Bro you can count on me” I replied. He nodded.
I asked Sandra to get down from my car. I need to take her to bride’s room without anyone noticing me while Sam cleared the way beforehand. During this time Sam asked her to act a little dizzy just after saying “I Do” so that media won’t be able to take a pic of her & marriage ceremony can be cut short.
