SCENE 1 Morning dawns over a desolate area everywhere is calm and silent, We see a young man with a notorious look (IYIOGWE) walking hurriedly in tense, not far off (IDAFE) who sits in a corner observing. IDAFE: Who is this guy, and why is he moving like that? (muttering) He looks very suspicious, let me follow him discreetly this guy must be up to something. Idafe sneaks behind Iyiogwe, keeping his distance after a few minutes Iyiogwe suddenly vanishes from view. Oginikwa, where did he enter, Where’s the guy I was following did he disappear? (pauses) taa which kind disappearance be that, Let me check the other side first About to move as he notices a machete resting on his shoulder. He turns, scene fade out SCENE 2 The scene shifts to Segun’s room that same day Segun and Idafe sits on a couch, deep in discussion. SEGUN: Who could this be? IDAFE: I don’t know, but are you owing anyone money? SEGUN: No, you’re my closest friend If I owe anyone, you’d be the first to know IDAFE: I have a plan. (whispers) SEGUN: No I'm not interested in that kind of business, Idafe Count me out, What are you even saying to risk my life for money, eh ? with someone you don’t even know, bro I can't. IDAFE: Segun, hear me out Let’s do this and make some quick cash It’s a chance for us to settle some things, this is an opportunity and you know opportunity come but once, trust me, it won’t get out of hand. WONDER: Deal (They shake hands, Light fade) SCENE 4 At Segun’s house, Idafe sneaks past the door twice, Segun notices but doesn’t recognize him Curiously he steps outside and Suddenly Idafe grabs him from behind, covering his nose with a white cloth, Segun struggles briefly before passing out, Idafe drags him away. (Scene fades out) SCENE 5 In a lonely BUSHY part IYIOGWE stands RESTING ON A TREE smoking, HE IS already waiting FOR IDAFE, FEW Moments later, Idafe arrives, carrying Segun on his shoulders. IDAFE: Here he is (Gently Places Segun On The Ground) IYIOGWE: Idafe. IDAFE: I’ve done my part. Now, it’s your turn. IYIOGWE: Indeed, you’ve fulfilled your part. IDAFE: Where’s my money? IYIOGWE: Fake friends everywhere they claim to be real until it’s time to backstab You betrayed your best friend not just betrayed you sold your friend out for money. IYIOGWE: No games, but na set up, it's all Segun's Idea to test your loyalty (A flashback shows Segun and Iyogwe planning the loyalty test, the scene returns to the present day) You failed, you don betray IDAFE: Betray ke? I knew this would happen so I came prepared (splashing water on Segun’s face who wakes immediately) SEGUN: What’s going on? IYIOGWE: He failed the test. SEGUN: Idafe, you betrayed me you sold me out you sold your friendship just because of money (moving close to Idafe) IDAFE: No, wait, listen... (Segun pushes him, causing Idafe to stumble and hit his head on a stone and passes out, Wonder suddenly appears from hiding) WONDER: No His intentions weren’t entirely to betray you. SEGUN: Wonder, Why are you here?
