Blood Moon

Selene was brought up in a world of vampires. Ciro is her childhood friend who's always there to protect her. But an awful attack occurs in their little group of survivors and the two set off to save the captives.

Selene's feelings grew for Ciro but does Ciro feel the same?

Will they be able to get there on time?

Will the course of their fate be fortunate or damned for all eternity?

~Excerpt~

I sobbed at the words that I said. I finally was able to admit that I was wrong. I was wrong for making him feel that way. And seeing what had just happened earlier - I need him. I need him in my life.

"It scared me, Ciro. The thought of losing you. It scared me awfully." my words almost unintelligible because of my sobbing.

My chest is about to burst open. I want to let him know that he's important to me. I want him to hear it from me. I want him to feel how much I care for him and that I see him. I see who he is.

"You're the one thing in my life that's constant. You've always been there for me."

"Ciro, I..."

"Selene." he stopped me.

I looked at him with tears from my eyes, my heart pounding and my hands shaking. Whatever it is he is about to tell me, I'm ready for it. I'm ready to be shattered to pieces.
