The fire exhausted us but Ciro and I managed to walk back to where the truck crashed. We tried to walk further and into the city but our bodies are hurting too much for us to continue.
We decided to rest for a while in the truck and head back to where we should be - in the vampire's lair. With all the obstacles that we so luckily surpassed in the past few days, I became nervous about what will happen next.
What if they're already dead? Or worse already one of them?
We would have failed the people we love most especially mother and Jermaine who only wanted to protect us.
I couldn't bear the thought of seeing them either of those situations. But we have to do this. We didn't come all this way only to lose.
