Footsteps were heard, sounding a little hurried
“What’s going on in here” a middle-aged man probably in his forties or fifties asked
“Sir, this young lady...” suddenly the receptionist was interrupted “Sir, I know my sister very well she doesn’t have the money to buy a Lamborghini worth millions of dollars, the amount of money she has is less than a hundred dollars, I don’t want her to engage in such fraudulent activities” Delilah said looking pitiful
The manager’s face darkened after hearing this as he searched for the person whom of which Delilah called her sister
“She’s over there” Delilah pointed at the direction were Artemis was
The manager looked towards the direction which Delilah was point
The manager trembled as his eyes dilated; others thought he was trembling from anger,
“She’s definitely going to be kicked out”
“She thinks to highly of herself”
Then they saw something that shook them to their core
The manager bowed ninety degrees before Artemis and called out respectfully “Boss!!”
Artemis nodded slightly
All the people that laughed at Artemis were now rooted in place their mouths agape that an egg could fit; it was like a fierce slap to their faces giving a burning pain
“Boss, I hope everything is to your liking?”
“I want to purchase this car” Artemis said while pointing to the black Lamborghini
“Boss has a good eye, our limited edition black Lamborghini Aventador , Boss there’s no need for you to buy it, you can just take it free of charge!!”
Boom!!!
Another shock like a thunderbolt from the sky
“Did he just give a million dollar car away for free?”
“Did he just say a Lamborghini Aventador ?!”
“And he gave it to Artemis?!, this good for nothing?!”
Artemis didn’t really care she owned the place afterall and nodded, she turned to Lucas
“I remember you said if the manager personally gave me the car you would strip, run around and bark right?”
Lucas’s face turned ugly, he totally forgot about this “Sister, it was just a joke among friends don’t take it literally” Delilah said softly trying to ease things out
“If today’s events were in reverse, would you have let me go?”
Everyone went silent
“But don’t worry, I won’t allow you to do it” She said lightly
Before Lucas could relax he heard Artemis say
“Well, not here at least, this is a very distinguished shop, I can’t lower its reputation by making you run around, so...”
Artemis smiled cunningly like a sly little fox
“You’ll fulfill your promise when I beat you during our race tomorrow”
Lucas face turned black as a pot
“Don’t get to cocky Artemis, the higher you fly the harder you fall!” Lucas said angrily
Artemis smiled coldly
“We shall see” Before taking the car keys and driving away.
The manager of the shop was almost weak in the knees. He just got a call from Fox, saying that the boss is around. He was momentarily stunned
“The boss?! How? Where? When?” He said bewildered
“The boss is in your shop, she's purchasing a car there, help with the purchasing” Fox said lazily
“O..of course, I'll treat the boss really well” he said before hanging up and hurrying away.
But why does the boss look so young, probably 19 or 20 and she looks so thin, but that doesn't matter, what matters is that the boss is alive! I must tell the rest of our brothers!! He thought
