Chapter Five- Jade
For the next two weeks, I was locked in my room at night, but during the days, I spent them with Blane. The mornings were the hardest. For some reason, his men continued to swarm me, but by the evening, they were just wearily watching me. I had no idea what was going on, but as the days passed, I felt weaker and weaker. It was like I was fighting something invisible.
I promised Blane that I would stop escaping. I was doing my best to figure out my place in this new world and the more time I spent with him, the more time that I realized that place was by his side.
