Out of nowhere, one of Rachel's friends named Alexis accused Carrington of stealing the heirloom sapphire ring💍 when Rachel took it off to eat earlier at their table.
Alexis was too afraid to say anything at the time.
Initially, Alexis didn't want to get involved, fearing Klay's volatile temper, but felt she needed to speak up anyway to stop a thief from getting away with a crime. Alexis would hate for Carrington to grow bolder because no one was brave enough to speak up.
Klay's parents stood frozen and mortified listening to the allegations.
Of course, Carrington denied stealing anything and asked if the grand ballroom had security cameras to prove her innocence.
