Chapter SixThe portion of the reef around Ka'ilio Point jutted farther out into the ocean than where she usually swam and the entire strip of beach followed the coastline for miles. They could simply walk back along the sand if they tired of swimming. The turtles were headed west again. She and Glen could follow them along the reef back to where they began. Since she had already taken some great photos, she would rest and read a while, about Ernest Hemingway's old man and his battle with a marlin too far out at sea. She kept her eyes on the Honu and watched them sometimes dive to nibble limu growing on deeper edges of the reef. Carefully, she dove too, to learn how those oxygen breathers fared in deep water.
