Lilly's arms were exhausted. She shook them to revive them. One of the easiest ways to rest was to go limp and float face down in the water with the help of the facemask and snorkel to breathe through. After all, that's exactly what snorkeling was all about, lying limp on top of the water, breathing through the snorkel and enjoying the sights. It didn't take much effort to stay afloat. Before she rested, she made her way to Glen and told him how to rest. She was sure he had no clue about what they might do next in this situation and he would use up precious energy fighting just to tread water. Yet, he would fight to stay alive. That was all that mattered. Hopefully, he would not panic again and drown.
