Chapter ThirteenRelentless surf thunderously collided in explosive white belches that sprayed high up the black lava rock cliffs below her. Yet, the picturesque cove, with its smoothed white sand surrounded by lush foliage remained serene. The beach really was not accessible from the heiau because of tangled underbrush.
