Final Decision

Tinamad akong kumilos ngayon, pero kailangan kong pumunta ng school ng maaga dahil kakausapin kami ni Prof. Enriquez. It's almost 7 o'clock na, at dapat mga 8 nandoon na ako sa school.

Nakakatamad naman ngayon, bigat ng katawan ko. I scroll on my social media and check my messages muna bago ako bumangon. Bumungad agad sa akin sa GC namin na nag-leave na silang dalawa? They really pushing my buttons. I decided to message Jasmine and Anthonette. I messaged Anthonette first.

Arrietty: Can we talk?

I stared at my phone for a few minutes, waiting for her reply.

Anthonette: Some other time.

Anthonette Ligazpe blocked you.

What? She blocked me? Ano ba talaga ang nagawa ko? Bakit isa-isang lumalayo sa akin? I decided to chat Jasmine as well.

Arrietty: Jazzy, can we talk please?

Jasmine: Arrietty, we should talk next time if I'm not busy.

Arrietty: What happen ba? Galit ba kayo sa akin? Are you guys avoiding me?

Napahiga na lang ako sa frustration nang mabasa ko ang reply ni Jasmine sa akin. I overthink dahil dito. Kailangan ko talaga silang makausap, dahil wala akong maalalang nagawa ko na pwedeng magpataw ng galit sa kanila.

Naligo na lang ako to loosen up. Wala rin naman akong magagawa kapag ayaw nila akong makausap eh.

Bago pa lang ako maka-alis sa condo, tinext naman ako ni mommy. Simula ng umalis ako sa bahay, wala na din akong balita sa kanila. Hindi ko na nga din alam kung umalis na ba sila ng bansa.

Sa dami ng sinabi ni daddy sa akin, ngayon hindi na naman siya galit. Hindi ko na lang din nirereplyan si mommy. Ipapakita ko sa kanila na kaya kong mabuhay nang wala sila. Sanay na rin naman akong mag-isa dahil palagi silang wala sa bahay.

And as for my hair, I've left it cascading freely down my shoulders, catching the gentle breeze as I move. This carefree yet chic hairstyle adds a touch of effortless charm to the entire look, completing the ensemble with a hint of relaxed sophistication.

Dahil nga malapit lang yung condo ko sa school, kaya nilalakad ko na lang ito. Nang malapit na ako sa gate, bumungad sa akin ang isang tarpaulin na ang nakalagay ay 'YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO THE CHAMPIONS PARTY THIS EVENING'.

Mamayang gabi yung party nila. Hindi din naman ako interesado sa party-party na yan. I just smiled a bit nang maisipan ko na siguro maaga kaming makaka-uwi mamaya dahil sa party. I also heard na may mga programs din sila, for sure magpe-prepare pa yung iba.

Dumiretso na ako sa cafeteria para bumili ng pagkain. Bibili na lang ako ng dalawang burger at doon ko na lang kakainin sa classroom para hindi ako ma-late sa meeting ni Prof. Enriquez. Pagkapasok ko sa cafeteria, marami agad ang mga estudyante, parang library na yung cafeteria. Maganda din naman kasi mag-aral dito habang nagre-review, pwede ka pang kumain.

As I entered the bustling cafeteria, my eyes scanned the room until they settled on a table where Thunder sat with Jeremiah, Aidan, and McKay. The clatter of trays and chatter of students filled the air, but my attention was drawn to McKay's sudden wave in my direction.

Caught off guard, I felt a flush of surprise wash over me. McKay's unexpected gesture caused Thunder to shift his gaze towards me as well, his expression momentarily curious. I could feel their eyes on me, studying me intently, before they quickly averted their gaze.

Despite the slight tension in the air, I mustered the courage to return McKay's wave with a tentative smile. It was a small gesture, but it felt like a bold move in the moment. With a mixture of relief and apprehension, I decided to leave the cafeteria, the weight of their stares lingering in my mind as I walked away.

Salamat naman at wala pa si Prof. Enriquez, bulalas ko sa sarili pagkapasok ko sa room, kaya may oras pa akong kainin yung burger ko. Pa-scroll-scroll muna ako sa socials ko habang kumakain nang biglang may nag-message sa akin, si McKenzie.

I gaze at my phone, nag-aantay ng reply niya. Sobrang pabitin naman ito si McKay ah. Baka dumating na si Prof. Enriquez.

Arrietty: Alam mo, kung magpapabitin ka lang, wag mo nang sabihin, "Ang tagal mong mag-reply."

McKenzie: Alam mo attorney wala ka talagang patience no. Hindi na nga lang kita tutulungan.

Arrietty: Ang tagal mo kasing mag reply eh, baka dumating na si Prof. Enriquez may meeting pa naman kami ngayon.

McKenzie: Oh ito na nga, diba may party mamaya. So dapat pumunta ka at doon ako gagawa ng paraan para maka-usap mo si Thunder.

Arrietty: Wala na ba ibang paraan diyan? Hello McKay?? Ma bobored lang ako diyan. Iba na lang.

McKenzie: Wala ng ibang time. Ito na lang ang naiisip ko tsaka ito lang din ang time na wala si Athena sa side niya kasi this party is for Union College only no outsider allowed.

Arrietty: Oh, sige na nga. Usap na lang tayo mamaya nandito na si Prof.. Enriquez.

"Okay class, please settle down first before I give my news to you all," panimula ni Prof. Enriquez.

"I'm sorry, miss," paumanhin ni Abi ng pumasok siya sa room. I quickly glanced at her and caught her also staring at me habang papasok kaya ibinalik ko din agad yung tingin ko kay Prof. Enriquez.

Isa lang din naman yung goal ko ngayon na makausap si Thunder. Gusto ko lang talaga ng peace of mind. Kahit ano pa ang sabihin niya mamaya, tatanggapin ko at mag-mo-move on na ako. My decision is final.

"Okay class. I already have the results of the exam we conducted. As I mentioned, the candidate who will compete internationally is the one with the highest score among the five of you. Fortunately, Daniel and Arrietty got the highest scores. Nag-prepare na rin ako ng susuotin dahil susunduin ako ni McKay. Sinabi ko sa kanya na hindi na niya ako dapat sunduin pero sobrang kulit talaga niya. Kaya wala na rin akong nagawa. Sasabihin daw muna niya yung plano namin.
