"I wish you a Happy Friday, my dear brother" I heard a familiar voice coming from the kitchen.
"Good Morning, my champ" I retorted
"Scott! Chop Chop!, your breakfast will be ready within ten minutes. All you have to do is to get ready, eat and leave for your interview"
"Oh Ade! what would I be without you!" I said.
"Helpless" she chuckled.
" And now my lady, you are being rude " I retorted. But it's true. I would be nothing without Adelyn by my side. She is my sister and best friend. She took care of me after my parents demise, for past three years. I'm a hybrid werewolf. Strange thing Ade is also a hybrid werewolf. My mother found Ade in a road accident and they adopted her. We don't have a pack. We are a pack Ade and Me.
"And you are getting late" she pushed me towards my bathroom. I got ready for my interview within 10 minutes time. Ade was right, I'm getting late. I thought of skipping my breakfast, but Ade will be mad at me. I can't afford to piss off my sister now, Can I?!
"Ade, I'm getting late. I will have the food you prepared later. I Promise" I rushed for the door with my bag.
"No can do, brother"
"But Ade..
"Nope. I will drop you there. Here is your cheesy roast beef wrap. You can eat while I drive" she handed the two wraps packed in foil paper and took her jacket and keys to head towards our car. I followed suit.

As I finished the first wrap and about to open the second one, my sister snatched it from my hand. We are waiting for the signal to turn green.
"what was that?"
"That's my share, you i***t wolf"
"Whatever, I'm going to prepare for my interview. Eyes on the road" I took my phone and surfed about Blackwood Empire and Dylan Blackwood.
She rolled her eyes and started driving as the light turned green.
"What is there to prepare? you have already cleared the first few rounds. Today you are going to have an interview with your boss itself. I guess it's just a formality, even if he put you to test, which they already have in previous round, You are going to be his bodyguard, stand beside him, stare at potential enemies, identify attacks, break some limbs if need arise. It's no rocket science brother. You will kill it. Now relax and throw that phone aside. You can enjoy the view outside, unless you are already doing that" she looked and my phone and then wiggled her eyebrows
I looked at her and then at my phone. Dylan's image was there in website. My eyes widened in shock.
"Goddess seriously, Ade!"
"Why, He is a good looking man. I know your type and he is exactly that"
She is right. I looked at the image in my phone. He is not just a good looking man. He is beyond perfect with denim blue eyes, chiseled jawline and high cheek bones, jet black hair and pale skin. My sister knows me well, he is my type. But he is gonna be my boss.
"Ade, he could be my boss from today. What are you talking about."I said with a sigh.
"There you said it. I don't like the "could" in it" she air quoted.
"Here good sir, you reached your destination "
I chuckled and kissed her cheeks.
"Thank you, now go home".
"No I will wait"
"No, if I said you are going home. You are going home?"my expression turned into a serious one which stopped her from arguing.
"Alright" she raised her hands in surrender
"I like the sweet brother version you know"
"Ade, you know it's dangerous. We are different from Vampires and this is their territory. They may suspect you as a threat."
"As if you are not a Werewolf? You are going to walkin there and gonna work for them."
"I have an appointment. I'm expected here"
"Alright you won. I'm going. Happy?"
she hugged me.
"Very"
I hopped out of the car and started walking towards the building.
"Scott"
"Break a leg. Blow them away. Win big time!" she cheered loudly.
I could not help but laugh. She indeed made me relax. Good thing I came with her.
My sister bid bye with her optimistic words. I turn around look uptowards the tower. Blackwood Empire was written in the big blue block letters
at the top.
"Blackwood Empire" here I come
