[Third Person]
Although Kelvin had more servants than the number of black hair on his head, he still preferred packing his things by himself. He didn't like the idea of some stranger rummaging through his things.
As soon as he was done packing, the old geezer finally fell asleep, tired and exhausted from the long and stressful day.
The next day, Kelvin got up bright and early, got ready, and ordered Mark to drive him to the airport. Kelvin booked first class, wanting his journey to be as sweet and comfortable as possible.
Kelvin lived in a Tier One City. As such, the cost of a plane ticket was higher than ever, even higher than the cost of something like a heart transplant. Still, Kelvin decided to cover the expenses, despite knowing it would be a huge blow to his finances. That was how much he cherished his favourite grandson.
Kelvin lived in a Tier One City called Slez. The flight from Slez to Burmin, the city Kyle lived in, was meant to take sixteen hours. During that time, Kelvin decided to play a game on his laptop that has become popular among the youths to keep himself from getting bored.
The name of the game was Holy Fist. It was basically an online game in which you use an avatar to fight other players' avatars to gain money and fame, not only in the game, but in real life.
Eventually, the old geezer got tired playing the game and eventually dozed off. Before he knew it, the sound of the plane engine screaming resounded in his ears, signalling the plane had landed.
Getting off the plane, Kelvin had already arranged for some connections he had in Burmin to put together a ride he would take to his daughter's house.
'I hope Kyle will like it,' Kelvin thought, bringing out a small box and opening it. It was a pendant of a red Phoenix.

[First Person]
I was currently on the phone with my other friend, Sindy. Sindy lived a few streets away from me in a similar, shabby looking house. Sindy lived with both her parents, and had a little brother named Kerk.
"Hope you'll be able to come to school next week?" I asked. The reason for asking this question was because, next week was when all highschool students, including I, Sindy and Brandon, had to pick the college they were going to attend.
The Great Coup did more than just ravage the economy, it also disfigured the school system. Now, after highschool, students had to choose between three categories of colleges to further their education. The colleges were: Science and technology, business and finance, and lastly, law and politics.
I, along with Sindy and Brandon, had decided we would all attend the Business and Finance category as we all wanted to stick together. Although that wasn't what we each wanted to study, we decided to go with the decision anyway since, other than our parents, we were the only ones who were willing to look out for each other. Although I could have just asked my grandpa to look after each of us in our various fields of interest, I didn't want to put much pressure on the old timer, who was already doing more than necessary in looking after me.
"I don't *cough* think I'm *cough* gonna make it *cough*," Sindy said, in between the coughs. Sindy had contacted an illness which wasn't well known in the current era known as malaria. Although her parents were doing everything possible to find a cure, they had yet to find one. And even if they did, they were sure the prize for the cure would be ridiculously high, since it was a rare disease. Sindy didn't even know how she contacted it, however, every night as she sleeps, she would consistently hear a weird noise hovering above her ears.
"What if I ask Kelvin to find you a cure?" I considered Sindy to be someone truely dear to him. I, Brandon, and Sindy had grown up together. Although we lived far from eachother, we would go to each other's houses during the weekends to play and have fun. They were the only friends I had growing up, so I couldn't just sit back and let a forgotten disease take one of them away.
"Don't *cough* worry. I'm *cough* fine," Kyle didn't reply. I ended the call then and there and dialled another number. The person on the other end picked up on the second ring.
"Yo Kyle, what's up? I'm on my way to your mum's place right now," Kelvin said and ended the call there, not giving me the opportunity to say why I dialled his number.
"Sigh... what am I gonna do with you?"
