The Story Of Us

A diary begins. Introducing us...:)

My name is Mom on most days reguardless of who is talking to me. That comes from all of my sons being close at hand and all people hear is let me get my Mom for you. Oh, I guess I should explain that we have a small family owned business that we all survive together. I say survive, which is accurate. You would have to be with us often to understand how accurate that really is.

On the days that Mom doesn't apply I go by the name Rebecca. My last name is not too important. The important part is I share the name of my awesome sexy looking husband. Yes, even as we enter our last stages of life I still think of him as being a great looking man. He still makes my heart smile each time I think of him. His name is Lionel.

We have a blended family of six sons. My four and his one along with his bonus one he adopted from his first marriage. My crew's names are Marcus, Tyler, John, and Clayton. His are Casey and Jamie. We have a passel of grands you will hear about as we go. My parents are thankfully still alive and are often found amongst us daily. I am greatful I can still say that.

We own a consignment shop. Not your ordinarily high dollar neat organized place by any means. We have over 1,000 consignors. We have been surviving our industry for over 10 years. We have recently added the auction world to our list of services offered. We sell anything legal to sell in the state of Florida where we are located. In a tiny town of Starke where bith my husband and I were born and raised.

This book is more for my children as I hope they find it one day many days from now and enjoy the memories shared here. I hope you enjoy it as you turn the pages as well.
