We walked along the road between the stalls without refreshments in hand while enjoying the sun. A breeze had now begun to blow through the streets wicking away any amount of heat that had been felt upon our skin. This factor coupled with the food and drink, gave Mary and me a great sense of ease while being exposed to the elements. All around we watched people looking about the stalls while also carrying their own purchased items. Souvenirs were all the rage from the fair, but Mary and I did not wish for such clutter within our homes. Instead, we both enjoyed more of the smells and tastes of the food stalls while sharing these moments. It had truly become a special event even with multitudes of people flocking about the area.
