DOOM

Irina's mind wandered off during the drive to the school with her father, Mr Saltzman and things seemed awkward between them. Two months back, she lost her mother. The sadness changed her from being cheerful to depressed. Arriving at the gates of the school, her father stopped the car, she came down and he drove off without biding her farewell. Irina let out a sigh as she watched his car slowly get out of sight. Looking at the school, anxiety took over her. She thought she had prepared herself enough in the last few days but it seemed the fear and uncertainty still threatened to crash her resolve now that the moment had arrived. Irina was a petite girl, with shoulder-length brown hair and hazel eyes. She had a pale complexion, and a few freckles dotted her cheeks. She was wearing a simple, black dress, and her shoes were scuffed and worn. She carried a duffel bag on her shoulder, and clutched a small, tattered notebook in her hands. As she walked through the gate of the school, two girls ran up to her. They were both tall and slender, with long, dark hair and piercing. The girls' eyes glittered as they looked at Irina, and one of them smiled and said, "Hi, I'm Feronia Griffin. And this is my best friend, Eldia Silvester. We're your roommates."
