Déjà Vu

Chapter Four

Kai’s POV

Once I pulled into the school parking lot, my sister just disappeared. What the? I hopped out of my car, looking for her only to find her looking at the coolest bike I’ve ever seen. And not like “a bicycle built for two”, I mean like hard-core biker gang bike. Dang. I would love to meet whoever drove that beautiful beast. Tearing both my eyes and my sister from that beautiful machine, I dragged us into our new “home”.

Once we stopped at the office, we were free to go. First through third period had nothing out of the “normal”. It was at lunch that we ran into quite the conundrum. A tiny human girl, gorgeous really, who fainted as soon as I saw her. But strangely, not before ripping off her shirt and making a nice little pillow.

At first, I was alarmed. I mean, nap time anyone? Then I was interested, and so was Kara. Without a word we headed over to the unconscious human girl and sat down like we sat there all the time. I indicated for Kara to check the poor girl’s pulse before examining her further. I mean wow. This girl was beautiful. She had scarlet hair, that if the light caught it just right, looked almost the color of blood. And from what I could tell, her umm, assets, certainly weren’t lacking either. She was striking. And she was looking at me with gorgeous hazel eyes that had the threat of death in them.
