My first stop after I leave the house is the Chemist. It is no secret anymore that my family is very broke. Everyone is acquainted with dad's condition and know that his health has totally drained his purse.
Many are sympathetic, including my boss, Mrs Morrison. She is understanding and kind as ever when I explain the new job offer. She agrees to adjusts the roaster, so that I now have to work the afternoon shift.
It's 8:32 am when I enter the towers. I'm already late by only two minutes and nervous as hell. I can't decide whether I want to see Zach or not.
