Overwhelmed with gratitude, Sienna thanked Simon repeatedly. Simon waved it off as no trouble at all. He still had a flight to catch back to Kingswell, so he left shortly after delivering the gift. Exhausted from the long day, Sienna didn't linger either. She said goodbye to Marcus and headed home. On the drive back, Zoey curled against her and gradually drifted to sleep. Even in deep sleep, she held the harmonica tightly in her hand. Seeing that, Sienna didn't try to take it away. The day had been exhausting, and she still hadn't met Julian, but she had made meaningful progress. For the first time in days, her heart felt light. Once home, Sienna finally relaxed and fell asleep beside Zoey. By the time she woke, it was eight in the evening, and both their stomachs were growling.
