She was right.
A short while later, Caleb called. "Zoey's father wanted to withdraw her from school. I refused and told him you'd have to come in yourself."
Sienna was furious, but all of her irritation was directed at Ethan, not Caleb. "Thank you, Mr. Quinn. I'm sorry he caused trouble for you. Please ignore anything he says about transferring Zoey."
Caleb didn't mind.
As a psychologist, Caleb could easily see how superficial Ethan's sudden concern for Zoey was. After what had happened at the birthday party, he also knew he had a responsibility as Zoey's teacher to protect her, and he wasn't about to let Ethan make reckless decisions for her.
After ending the call, Sienna left the Palmer home and stopped by the research institute.
