Sienna stared for a moment before catching herself.
Zoey had seen Julian dressed this way before, so she wasn't particularly surprised. Instead, she leaned closer to him and said sweetly, "Julian, you smell nice."
Sienna came back to herself and noticed the scent too.
It was a faint cedar scent, cool and understated, and somehow perfectly suited to him.
Julian smiled and rubbed Zoey's head without commenting. He simply said to Sienna, "Get in, Dr. Shaw."
Sienna nodded and was about to step into the car when Simon spoke up. "Dr. Shaw, I think that man may be looking for you."
She turned, puzzled.
A car had just stopped a short distance away, and a familiar figure stepped out.
It was Ethan.
He had clearly seen her. As soon as he got out, he headed straight toward them.
