Sienna nodded. "I didn't ask for a cent!"
"Then he has no reason to refuse. You're stepping aside so he can be with that woman. Why is he still holding on?"
Margaret soothed her daughter. "Don't worry yet. Talk to him when he comes home tonight."
Sienna nodded.
But this time, Ethan stayed away for three straight days.
Sienna had planned to press him, then reconsidered. The harder she pushed, the more stubborn Ethan would become.
Perhaps he only needed time to cool off. Once he did, he might send over the signed agreement himself.
Surely he didn't want Vanessa waiting forever without the legitimacy of marriage!
