“How have you been?”
Erina looked lovingly at her friend as they talked. Silas, her uncle, and her mom chose to get out of the room and give them privacy. Erina felt very happy seeing her friend again but she didn’t notice how Silas and her family are much happier to see her smile so widely again.
“Just… fine,” Kesha answered shortly.
Nothing is fine. The moment Erina left the company, all of them wanted to leave too. But of course, the company didn’t let them use their contracts. They fought of course, all of them we’re willing to pay even millions just to get out of the hell hole. But the same trick was used on them.
They were threatened. They were abused. And they never felt like themselves again.
