“Only if you knew”

Only if he knew how pretty his dark brown hair was, and dreamy his blue eyes were, like an ocean you can look at forever. I always get butterflies when I encounter him..today, something felt..different. I’d been walking down the street to Old Bay Park—which isn’t that far since the town I live in is quite small. I walk, and walk, my arms crossed, my body getting quite chilly as the cool breeze of the wind would gently tap my skin from time to time. I finally made it to the park, and..I saw him..Oliver. I felt my heart flutter, suddenly pausing. He was laid beside the oak tree, staring up at..maybe nothing. And it was the lone oak tree that you’d often see in the middle of the park, that’s as beautiful as they come. I slowly make my way through the park gates, to go sit beside Oliver—I hadn’t noticed the guitar on the ground beside him. I slowly approached, sitting alongside him taking a deep breath before I spoke. “So uh..I see you’re sitting out on a warm-chilly day huh?”, I said softly, my arms wrapped around me, kind of shivering from the warm breeze that felt chilly..Oliver snapped out of his..dreamland and turned to look at me, with a warm, welcoming smile. “Yeah..feels good out here today..are you..cold?”, Oliver says, looking me up and down..I didn’t wanna admit it but..I didn’t have to..he gave me his jacket anyways. I accepted it, the jacket draped across my shoulders, helping me regain my warmth. “So, you wanna hear a..song I made?”, Oliver asks softly, and I of course nodded yes, sitting comfortably facing Oliver to hear him play his guitar. He sung, and sung, and his finger danced across the guitar strings, beautifully..his blue eyes were so dreamy, full of beauty.. I loved his song. But my attention was on his attractiveness. How dreamy he was..how beautiful. Just only if he knew.
