Everything moved quickly after that. Sebastian helped pack up the rest of my apartment, and a truck came to transport some of my things to a storage unit that belongs to a friend of mine. She’s offered to try to sell a few things for me. A few days later, I said goodbye to my miserable roommate, and the little island life I loved for so long.
The first few days in the Packhouse flew by in a blur. He had some things that belonged to Raquel in the room, so that was awkward, and we had to learn to navigate silly things like closet space and where to keep our stuff in the bathroom, but being with Sebastian has been surprisingly easy. In the evenings, when he comes home, he is attentive and entirely devoted to my happiness, so much so that I wish he could stay with me all day.
