Fireflies

"Have you heard the story about the fireflies?" he asked breaking the silence. I shook my head. "I haven't heard that thing." I answered. "Then let me tell you about it." he said "

" Once upon a time, there is this handsome young man and he wants to marry the most beautiful young woman. He is too arrogant and had a high self esteem. " he started the story.

"Sometimes all the girls in the village hated him or been hurting because of he criticized them.

One day, he went to a mountain to get woods he saw a beautiful lady who wears all white. She is so beautiful he said to himself and immediately run towards the direction of the beautiful lady. When he is near the young lady run and suddenly disappeared like a bubble. He's finding the young lady throughout every corner of the forest but unfortunately he couldn't find her.

Hours has passed and tiredness that he couldn't find the beautiful lady he got mad. "You're not really beautiful your nose is really flat, your eyes are uneven and your ears are so big." the young man bad mouthed the lady he saw.

Because of tiredness and exhaustion the young man sat beside the big tree and took a rest. He fell asleep and when he woke up, he saw the beautiful young lady. He knows that the lady really isn't ugly as what he said a while ago.

"You insulted me, because of that from now on you will become bug. The spell would only break and you'll only come back to your old look if you can bring me the most beautiful lady more beautiful than me. Go and start looking for the girl I am saying so you can go back to your old look. " the forest spirit.

The young man flee who turn into a bug to find the girl who is beautiful than the forest spirit so he can bring him back from being a human.

He Search through day and night. Just to found the beautiful girl that will break the spell. He brought a light every night. The young man that became a bug and later on we called it fireflies." Pierce ended the story.

" I hope he can find the girl who is beautiful than the spirit forest." I answered melancholy. "If I were the young man." he said and he looked into my eyes are face is only one each away from each other. My heart starts to beat fast I froze on the spot I can feel his breathing. "I would bring you to her cause you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life" he added and suddenly our lips collide. We kissed under thousands of lights under the fireflies.
