Marsa immediately dresses up into something brand new. All though she loved it very much, the beautiful white dress made her feel comfortable. It went up till under her knees and a large cut in the front. For this hot summer this was perfectly fine.
However, it was the whole situation that was making her feel a bit unwell. Pushing her hair behind her shoulders, she slowly walked up towards the mirror, looking at herself. And there was something very different about her. And not only the clothes that she was wearing, but her way of looking as well. Clearly remembering how she was yesterday, dull, almost looking like death. But right now, she seemed a bit alive. Especially when she was with a stranger.
It was a bit scary for her to even think about this, but that was that truth.
Taking a deep breath inside, Marsa placed her hand on her stomach, letting that breath get into her. Making her feel a bit less irritated in her skin.
“Don't faint……… don't lose your balance, Marsa. Every thing is going to be okay.” She said to herself. Hoping that her on mind would only listen to her. But it was so difficult for her to grasp the reality.
How ever, this reality seemed very sudden to even have hope like that. Especially as her life was going, she was losing hope anyway. Slowly Marsa opened her eyes, nodding her head and walking out of the room.
Not really knowing what was on the other side. She pulled the double doors inside and walked out, only to be greeted by a man that was waiting for her on her left side. She stopped, freaked out. He was completely suited in all black, a very tall, very broad man. And he had very similar features to Mile.
“This way, ma'am..” He said, guiding Marsa towards the elevator. Needless, to say, she was frozen for that one second.
“Huhhh..” She gasped.
“Mr. Soudan is waiting for you.” He let her know. Marsa though, she did not move at all.
“Where is he?” She asked.
“In the dining hall. Mr. Soudan is waiting for you there.” He said and this time her heart started to rise faster. Her chest was heavy and she gulped hard.
Marsa knew there was no going back and so, she took a few steps forward, walking slowly behind him. Although, she was still a bit drunk and those heels that she was wearing was only making it difficult for her to stand on her feet. Never the less, she got into the elevator with this unknown man, waiting for her fate to take her place. She didn't even know it existed.
With in no time, Marsa had reached the top floor of the roof of this luxury hotel. And as the doors opened, the bright light of the sun hit her. Almost blinding her.
Marsa shut her eyes quickly, feeling a strange headache coming on to her. It was painful, but it did not bother as much as when she opened her eyes and there she Saw multiple people waiting for her.
This was just like in the Mafia movies. She was really getting out of breath, just getting heavy on her chest. And her hand fisted into a ball. She was pinching herself and hurting herself.
“This way please…” The man said. Marsa did not argue, there was no point in running. And where would you go? And how?
Never the less, you saw multiple beautiful women bowed down to Marsa. All of this was just too strange. How ever, as she walked out onto the roof, there she saw Mile standing by the edge, looking out into the city with his hands in his pockets.
But that is not the first thing she noticed. It was the table set for her, food every were.
Slowly, Mile turned around, looking at her. And right then, the men and women walked out of there, leaving them all alone.
“Sit down.. You must be hungry.” He said, in his thick, and rough voice. Every time it made her shiver. He pulled the chair out for her, as all she could do was watch him for a second.
She had no control over her heart anymore, but never the less, Marsa walked up to him, sitting down. She was not afraid of him necessarily, even though he was a powerful man. She was nervous, and had no idea what would be the right thing to feel either.
He then sat down right opposite to Marsa.
“You should start eating. You didn't eat anything last night either.” He said looking deep into her eyes, like he was staring into her soul. The smile on his face was minimal, but it was very genuine.
Marsa simply did not know how to handle that kind of beauty and she held her panic and looked the other way. Making her look down at the food.
Surprising as it was, she was shocked to see everything that she ever loved was right in front of her. A very large frown growing on her face and lines forming on her forehead.
“How did you…… I mean.” Marsa said, pausing in between. Having very few words to say. But it was difficult for Marsa to bring them out. How ever, she stopped on her track, thinking that maybe he too had the same taste in food.
Immediately she went to eat, nothing thinking too much about it. Cutting the pancake that looked amazing, and shoving a very large piece into her mouth. Marsa closed her eyes tight and loudly moaning as the taste of it melted in her mouth.
It was just two perfect, two much.
And it was happening right in front of Mile. The man sat there watching her very carefully. A small smile on his face and he was amused. More over, happy that she was eating
“I know you need a lot of necessary things before you leave for my house. But I would prefer you buy new things for yourself Marsa. It will be difficult for you to travel back and forth.” He said, bringing her back to reality. Marsa was a little shaken up, after suddenly hearing this.
“I am sorry, what?” She asked, stunned.
“For you to move into my place. I would prefer you buy new things.” He said, and Marsa was too shocked by her food. Realising that this man was not joking in any way. She let go of her fork, and sat back. Wiping her mouth with tissue.
“Mr……..”
“Mile…” He said to her, stopping her and wanting to hear his name from her mouth. She felt a strange vibration in her body the moment she realized what he was doing.
“I have no idea what is going on here…… You want me to suddenly move into your house?” She said, her voice shaking now.
“You don't even know me. I don't even know you.” Marsa whispered.
“That is not true. I have always known you.” He muttered, still not losing his hope.
“But I do not have any memory of you. Not even from my childhood, up until now. How do you expect me to suddenly move into a stranger's house? You have to understand, logically, it is terrifying. Especially to a girl.” She said, and all he did was look deep into her eyes. There was a sort of intimidation in him.
“I do promise to keep you safe.” He said, meaning every word. And in his face she could see that he meant it, but it was difficult for her to simply agree.
Suddenly she looked away from him, scared and playing with her hands. No longer was she hungry. Mile watched her very carefully, and clearly understood that none of this was easy for her either.
“I wish I could listen to you.” He said, sitting up straight. And his large body spreading all around. And his strict face looking right at her.
“I promise to give you all the luxury, all the protection and anything you want will be all yours. But I only ask you to live with me, so I can have you around me. Make sure you are not in trouble.” He said with no expression and she was very stunned now.
“I have never been in trouble.” She said, and he was not all that happy to hear her..
“You were about to die yesterday. If it was not my car Marsa, you would have been dead. That is not you being safe, that is you almost dying and me almost losing you.” He said, pain breaking out in his voice and yet there was anger in his eyes as well. But more over, there was also fear. It was strange for her to see him this way, the man who was so powerful was now breaking in front of her.
Marsa slowly squinted her eyes, realizing something was very strange here. And the way he was talking to her was not regular, but passionate. Immediately she shook her head. Marsa was letting go of what ever she was thinking.
“Every thing that is necessary to you, it all will be brought to you by my man. Other than that, anything you would need will be given and that is all I have to say.” He said, immediately standing up and Marsa watched his every move. Realizing he was about to go.
And maybe she had to go with him and this scared her. How ever, there was a small part inside of her that are screaming at her. Wanting not to fear this man. She was simply not going to let that feeling come to her,
“I don't want to go with you. I don't know you and you cannot force me..” Marsa said, making the man stop on his track. She was scared, as Marsa looked up at him, meeting his eyes. But that man and his real face came out and anger was pouring out of his eyes.
He was trying to control himself for her.
“Is that your last answer?” Mile asked her,
“That is my final answer,” She whispered. There was a part that was screaming for her to stop talking, and it was getting louder. More like that was telling her to not say this. But her mind was telling her something else.
After all the heart break she went through, after believing on someone and having that belief shatter into pieces, it was difficult for Marsa to say “yes”.
For even the most powerful man, like Mile. Any girl would want to be with a man like him, but not her. Especially when she knew nothing about him.
And when he says that, he knows her. He would take responsibility for her. Why? she asked herself. When the man who spent years with her, did not want her as anything in his life, why did Mile want him?
Why?
