Mile had left Marsa a long time ago and she very well understood that he was a very busy man. He was not going to come back to her, she had to do what was told to her. And of course, he was going to the office, nowhere else.
Marsa on the other hand, was taken down the building and, the entire time, her heart was beating so fast because she had no idea as to what would happen the next moment. Marsa was completely unclear about another second of her life.
“This way, ma’am.” The man said, who has been guiding her the entire time and Marsa was pulled out of her trance.
“Huhhh…. Yes..” She said, and walked out of that beautiful hotel, and only to see a very large Maserati standing out there. In all black, it was extremely bright. And this was all she could take.
“Just breathe, Marsa…” She said, as she simply couldn't help but think this entire thing was for her. It was shocking for sure. Never the less, she walked as the door was opened to her and she got inside. Sitting comfortably in the brand new car. The leather, and shine and everything smelt so new to her. However, she was a bit exhausted and did not have the strength in her to sit there and look around.
And so Marsa sat back, as she felt very comfortable, just letting all of this sink in her for once. Because even though she was free with her own will, at this moment it did not look like it was the case. She felt a bit trapped.
Anxiety was getting to her. Moreover, whatever the future held was her was scaring her now, because it was suddenly changing to such an extent that she did not have a grasp on her own reality. However, the car immediately started driving her away from there, to another destination.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
The car went a bit too far away, creating a distance, when suddenly Marsa slowly opened her eyes.
“Did I just fall asleep?” She asked herself, blinking her eyes a few times. How ever, Marsa sat up straight and looked out the window, trying to stay awake and alert of her place. And that is when it happened, it was almost as if God had woken her up to see this.
She slowly pulled the window down and there she saw the wedding hall. Where she knew the wedding was going on, they were driving right passed it.
“Stop the car…..” She whispered, her voice barely audible.
“The house has not come yet…….” The driver said, but it did not matter to Marsa.
“By that corner please…” She said, continuing to look at the hall. As the picture of both her ex boyfriend and the women she worked with was placed. She was in such a trance completely that even before the car completely halted, she opened the doors. And the car had to be forced to a stop.w
“Ma'am please, be careful.” The man said, but Marsa was already out now, making her way to the hall. She could still very clearly hear the party on the inside. It was breaking her to even know that the man she loved so much was not even here for her, he was happy with someone else and he was showing the world that. This was all getting heavy on her chest.
Her eyes had already started to water, as Marsa held her bag tight, digging her nails into it. Once up, Marsa slowly pushed the doors open and walked in to see it was a giant but empty hall. There were just a few guests here and there walking around.
There were presents on the left side corner, a few guests drinking around and the staff rushing here and there to get their work done. Marsa walked on that beautiful white marble, glowing under her.
This entire place looked like a dream, it was somewhere she would want to get married one day. This was her dream, and just could not believe that someone else was living this.
Marsa held on to the glass hand, knowing the other side was the reception. Placing her hand on her chest, she felt her heart.
Her heart was beating so fast, Marsa was afraid it would fall out. But putting in all of her energy, she pushed the door open, moving inside and there she saw the party. The wedding was over, people were sitting around, drinking, smiling, dancing, the crowd was large and beautiful wedding aesthetic all around.
It was meant to be for a king and queen, flowers and lights everywhere. And her heart sank. Marsa concentrated on where she could find Theo, and that is when she saw his father and mother. They were dancing with each other, happier than ever. The people who never approved of her were now finally happy.
It did not take her much time to find the man. He was right there, in front of her, he was also glowing, happier than ever. A tall dark man, dimples on him that were going in deep. His black hair fixed well. He was happy, like he had won a lottery.
And with him stood the bride, Silvi March. Silvi was clapping softly. Dressed in her elegant white dress. Marsa couldn't help but think all those years that she had spent with him and he was never this happy. Marsa just did not know how much more she was to give him. She just did not understand, Marsa was so drained, tired and yet so out of place with everyone she already knew. These people were from work, from his family, they all knew her very well.
Even up till a week ago, everyone knew about her and him, but suddenly she did not exist to them today and she was sad about it, hurt. Marsa was truly breaking now.
Slowly she turned around, making her way out of there. Knowing that this was not her place anymore. However, even though the people inside that party had not been paying any attention, but the pride most definitely did. She stopped, and saw Marsa walking away.
“I will be right back.” She said to the groom, who was dancing like a mad man.
“Do you want me to come with you?” Theo asked Silvi.
“No…” Silvi said.
“You stay here, I have to use the washroom.” She said, smiling softly and walking out of there towards the door.
“Stop Marsa..” Silvi called out to her, and Marsa’s heart sank to the ground. However, Marsa did not fear her or anything, she cared very less about her. Marsa was just very numb. Silvi then looked around to see they were the only people there, which was good for her. As the bride could not get a bad name.
Slowly Marsa turned around, facing her. She was extremely tired and definitely she was not going to fight a woman who stole her man, it was beyond her.
“I know I sent you an invitation for the wedding Marsa, but I did not expect for you to come.” Silvi said, smiling and walking of closer.
“Why? do I have a problem with me coming here?” Marsa said, actually opening her mouth and talking, some thing she had not seen Marsa do before. Silvi stopped on her track, moving her hands around.
“So, what do you think? Do you like the arrangement here?” Silvi asked, grinning. And Marsa on the other hand, she glanced at the place, her heart breaking.
“Hmm….. Everything is beautiful.” She whispered, looking around. And even though it was tough for her to speak, she did it.
“What was your end goal coming here Marsa? You know this was going to hurt you.” Silvi said, pushing her hair away from her face.
“I think, I just wanted to see what it was like here.” She let out, not holding back either.
“Hmm.. okay fair enough.” Silvi hummed.
“Now that you have seen it all. I think you should go. I cannot have to ruin my wedding and my day.” Silvi said, degrading her and now she no longer had a smile on her face, and her green eyes had no shine in them either. Silvi had a look on her face, she was ready to destroy everyone.
..
..
..
..
For that one moment, Marsa stayed very quiet. Knowing that she had to choose her words very well.
“I really hope all the happiness for you and him, Silvi.” She said, finally speaking up, and meaning it with her heart. While Silvi actually laughed a little louder than necessary. But she nodded her head, folding her hands and listening to Marsa speak.
“Thank you Marsa. Your blessings really mean everything to me.” Silvi said, still sinkering.
“And it should.” Marsa whispered softly, but the tone of her voice was very short and strong which surprised the bride.
“Even after everything you have done for me, I will let it all go. But…………. But Silvi, you too have to understand that a man who cheated on me, to come to you. A more beautiful woman. A more wealthy woman. How long will it take for him to realize that there is another woman much more younger than you? Beautiful than you and richer than you.” Marsa said, and she was actually giving her the facts.
Silvi was falling now, it was clearly seen on her face.
“It hurt me to see him this happy, yes. I wanted to live with him but now that I have understood him, before I got married to him. I think my recovery will be much easier. Even though I still love him, I don't know why..” Marsa said, laughing to herself here, but she shook her head.
However, Silvi though, she was no longer sad here, she was scared and mad as well.
Marsa turned around, as she was ready to walk away. But not Silvi. She immediately started to make her way towards her, the clicking of her heels made it loud and clear and immediately she wrapped her hand so tight on to Marsa’s wrist and pulled her back in immense force.
“What exactly did you mean by that?” Silvi asked, anger pouring out of her. However, right at that moment, Marsa felt as if something was digging into her hand, her skin and flesh. Very tight it was painful, but the conversation was heavy.
“What do you mean, he will leave me?” She was now screaming at Marsa.
“Let go of my hand.” Marsa said.
“You said he would f****** leave me. What did you mean by that Marsa ?” Her grip got tight and the pain was immense on her now.
“You are hurting me. Let go.” Marsa said one more time, and immediately she started pulling back.
“Ahhhhhh… fuckk…” Marsa said, letting out a small scream as both the girls looked down, a little afraid, only to see that her wedding ring had turned around and actually made a large and deep cut into Marsa’s wrist. Both the girls freaked out.
There was blood everywhere, it was all a big mess.
“Oh my god…”
