“Mr. Marsa…..” However, right at that moment her name was called from behind her, both she and Silvi turned around the see it was Mile’s assistant there. What he was doing here was shocking to them.
He was a large man, large like Mile. Brown eyes and looked very smart. At the moment he was worried about Marsa, a frown on his face.
“Is everything okay?” He asked her, coming closer and only to see what had happened. The man was scared for her.
“We need to take you to the hospital.”
“What are you doing here?” Silvi asked him, surprised to see him here and not with Mile.
“You need to pack away, maybe go back inside the hall.” He said, looking at Silvi and then back at Marsa.
“I have to take you to the hospital, Ms. Marsa.” He said, grabbing her by the shoulder, while everything was so confusing to Marsa. She was not understanding why he was there out of all the people. And this was the same thought for Silvi as well.
“You are supposed to be with Mile, Malin. Why are you here and how did you know she was here?” Silvi asked, but he refused to answer any of her questions.
“Please, come with me, Ms.. Marsa.” Malin said to her, taking her away from there and away from her.
“Honey, Silvi. What are you doing out there? Come back inside.” Silvi’s mother called out for her from behind. However, the bride did not listen, she was only looking at Marsa, and thinking why Mile’s assistant was there for her, taking care of her of all the people.
Why was Marsa even here? Why did she look like nothing happened and everything was fine?. But before leaving, whatever Marsa said scared her, scared her about her husband.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Quickly, Malin walked her out of there, and it was needless to say it was a bit surprising for Marsa to see him there.. But she looked down to see a car behind her car, it was his and she knew it. He was following her.
“Does it hurt?” He asked.
“What………. what did you say?” Marsa was coming back to her reality here.
“Your hand?.... it's bleeding.” He said, walking her down multiple stairs, while trying to be very careful with her. That is when she looked down at her hand and saw the damage done, there was blood everywhere. Covering her entire arm.
It was even leaking out like never before. She was feeling a little light headed but there was no pain, she could not understand why though and it confused her. Marsa’s mind was all over the place at the moment. But she did not answer him and that's scared Malin.
Immediately the man took her other hand and placed it on the wound.
“Hold it tight.” He said, quickly taking off his jacket and wrapping it around her wrist.
It was needless to say that her pain was starting to get to her now and it was becoming stronger. It all happened so fast she did not even know what to think about, what to feel about either.
However, the driver immediately opened the door for her, scared to see what had happened.
“Is she okay?”
“Take us to the hospital, right now.” Malin said, pushing her and literally pushing her inside of the car.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Within no time, they had reached Rosewood hospital, and Marsa was already being taken care of. Nurses were looking at her hand, stitches being done, while she, on the other hand, was sitting in a VIP room, and on the bed.
Marsa felt nothing at the moment, but the blood was everywhere, even on her dress as well. Everything that happened in that small movement completely destroyed her, because now it was actually over.
Malin was sitting right there, opposite to her and he was watching the work being done very carefully. She was his responsibility after all.
“Why don't you sit here for some time, I will go call the doctor.” The nurse very gladly said and Marsa looked up to see the nurse being a bit older, but extremely beautiful. But she was not paying attention at all. Once she walked out, her eyes went to Malin.
“Why was Silvi so surprised to see you there?” She asked, having this question in her mind for so long.
“That is not important right now ma'am. However, you have to rest. Are you feeling better?” Malin asked, moving a little future in and she let out a small huff.
“Just a little light headed.” Marsa said, and looked down at her dress. Malin also did the very same thing, smelling blood all over her.
“I can understand this must be difficult for you, but a dress is being sent. It will be here in sometime. Up until then, I would prefer you sleep.” Malin let out but she was not having it.
“Can you please just tell me what happened?” She asked, pleading this time, and the man was a little sceptical to speak, but he did never the less.
“Ms. Silvi March is his sister, cousin, I mean.” He said and that surprised Mars. So much so that she sat up straight.
“No way..” She whispered, holding her hand tight.
“Yes, in fact that is the truth. Although, Ms. Soudan thought you did not know about the wedding, but when you stopped at the venue, your driver and bodyguard called us. He told us about everything, that is why I was sent to bring you away.” He explained and she was baffled to even speak. He could understand her problem here. He even felt bad for her.
“This all must be very difficult for you to understand Ms.. Marsa. But they are cousins.”
“Then why wasn't he at the wedding?” She was confused here.
“He does not agree with his cousin marrying Theo, and what they both have done to you, he cannot forgive her.” He said, coming out very clean about everything to her, and yet Marsa just couldn't understand where to put all of this information.
All because nothing was making sense to her anymore. Everything was right out in the open, right there for her, but a big puzzle never the less.
Never once did she know that Silvi was related to the CEO of the company.
“Where is she? WHERE IS SHE?” A very familiar voice came and both of them looked right ahead to see the double doors opening and Mile walking in angry. His eyes immediately landed on her and his heart broke. Blood was everywhere, it was just disturbing.
“Are you okay, Marsa? What happened to you? Who did this to you?” He asked, rushing closer and closer as she started to back away, quickly. But he was so close and immediately Mile grabbed her face in his hands, looking deep into her eyes.
“I am okay….” She whispered.
“You are not okay, look at yourself.” He said, and now his voice rose as well.
“I don't even feel anything.” She said, trying to control him, but he was going red and she even saw blood in his eyes. Immediately, Marsa placed her hand on his hand, stopping him from screaming and freaking out.
Immediately, the doctor walked in, controlling the situation.
“Is everything okay? what is wrong with her?” Mie asked, not missing a beat here. However, the doctor was smiling happy.
“It could have been a very deep cut, but it was not. Ms.. Marsa is absolutely fine but she will feel slight pain and she might feel tired most of the time. Other than that it is all fine. However, she will only stay this way for 3 to 4 days.” The doctor explained, reading her entire file. This made it easier for Mile to believe her.
“And by the way, it was an accident. Clearly, it was not intentional, just an accident.” The doctor clarified, and that was enough for him.
“I will send some medication Ms. Marsa. I hope you feel better.” He said, smiling at her as she mirrored the very same thing.
“Thank you so much, doctor.” He said, and the man walked out, leaving them alone and with doctor, went Malin as well.
For that one second, there was deep silence but Mile was not done here. Slowly he let go of her face, but took her hand in his.
“Did my sister do this to you, on purpose? Tell me the truth Marsa.” He said, not having it any other way.
“Honestly, Silvi did not. She was only trying to hold my hand either. But both of us did this together. It was an accident and a doctor said the same too, he would not lie.” She said, panicking, and he immediately shut his eyes tight. He was in pain, and the pain was in his heart.
“Of course he would not.” Mile said, knowing the power that he had in this world. No one would do that.
“She will have to answer for what she has done.” He said while Marsa was shaking her head.
“I do not want any of that. Can you please stop this. There is already so much going on, and I am tired.” She said, being very honest with him.
“Just let it go, why can't you just trust me when I say your sister did not mean to. It happened and I want to forget about it.” Marsa confessed.
“She was as shocked as me.” She said, trying to stop him from freaking out and she had no idea why she was doing any of this either. However, he was surprised to know that she already knew they were cousins, but he did not bring it up at the moment. It was not important.
Although, quickly he picked up his phone, anger was still pouring out of his system.
“Listen Stan, I want you to fire Theo Morse right now, give him a very good reason, but I want him out of the office by tomorrow.” Mile said, and she was stunned to hear this, her eyes went wide open in horror. She opened her mouth to say something but honestly had nothing that would come out of her.
“Immediately, I want to know everything after it's done.” He said cutting the call and sitting down close to her.
“Was that really necessary?” She asked.
“Everything I do is necessary, and as I have said to you before. You are my responsibility.” He said and she shut her eyes tight..
“And that is what I do not understand……… I just don't understand why?” She said irritated but he kept quiet.
“Of course, you do not want to answer that question, but taking up someone's job, taking up someone's life is also not fair.” She said, almost reminding him.
“While everyone else can do the say to you? They still hurt you and your life, Marsa.” He said, reminding her of the same.
“And if you cannot get away from them, stop protecting them as well. And let me protect you.” He said, getting closer to her, holding both her hands in his. He was careful about it, about her.
“He was trying not to hurt Marsa. And for that one moment she said nothing. Marsa had been through a lot. It was going to take trust someone, it was hard but this situation was harder.
However, her eyes stayed on him for some more time, seeing how he was in distress over and over again.
“I am really fine.” She whispered, and it took him a while to understand the truth, but the man nodded his head hoping that was true.
