Return of the Broken Omega

JANE “No… I swear it wasn't me at all…” I kept on yelling to no avail at all. No one could believe me no matter how hard I kept on screaming. The Alpha's men had seized me at once, and they looked like they wouldn't be letting go at any point from then on. “Shut your mouth…!” Darren, my younger brother, shut me up as I was being hurled out of the house like a criminal that I wasn't. “You should have thought twice about it before you killed your own parents…” He was the only immediate family that I had, and it cut right through my heart that he wasn't defending me in any way from all the accusations that I had murdered my own parents. “Why would I even do that….?” I cried out with pain and agony as I was being taken out through the front door while Darren and the others followed from behind. “I should be the one to ask you that. Why would you kill your own parents to begin with? " They loved you so much in spite of the weak trash that you are…” Darren was merciless with his words as he seemed to be in a hurry to throw me out. “Darren… who's making you do this…?” I was sure that he was being influenced as he was not sounding anything like the loving elder brother that I knew him to be. “I know this isn't you… how could you believe something that horrendous about me?” “You are really sounding audacious in the face of proof… Well, in that case, I would have to show you what exactly is making me believe this…” he stopped in front of me, motioning for the Alpha's guards to come to a halt. Then he took out his phone and shoved it in my face, almost hitting the screen on my forehead as he was trying to play a video in my face. My jaw dropped as I watched in horror as I peered aimlessly at the video where someone who looked exactly like me was in the kitchen, sticking something in the meal that was meant for the beta and his wife. Coupled with the fact that my father and mother's deaths had been really mysterious as they had developed an ailment from out of the blue, that video seemed to be the only explanation that could suffice for their demise. “No… it can't be…” I gasped as I looked at it intently as my body shook uncontrollably. In my frightened mind, I was already imagining the judgement that was due me if the alpha happened to see that video. “That's not me… I swear I never did anything like that…” “You can tell that to the alpha when he finally passes the judgement for your treacherous acts…” Darren said as he took the phone away back into his pocket. “Where the heck did you get that video?” That wasn't me at all… you know that I would never dare to do such a thing…” My eyes were tearing up really badly, and I didn't even know what other words to use to defend myself. Darren was looking emotionless at that point as he was looking at me. “At this point, I don't think I know who you are or what you are capable of… you are just a stranger to me right now. I guess that shows how much you wanted to fill in the beta’s position…” “You know that I never wanted anything to do with pack politics… what makes you think I would kill my own parents just to take their place…?” I couldn't hold back the tears anymore as I was just too pained to say a single word. “Please take her away. " I will come to the alpha's chamber to present my evidence…” Darren walked away, leaving me to wail and cry out loud with no one to hear me out. “Darren… please…!” I yelled my lungs out and inhaled them back in as I gasped in tiredness. It was all a lost cause and I really didn't know what exactly I could do to save myself. The numerous eyes which had been witnessing the scene made me even more pained. They all looked at me with no compassion as they were probably judging me in their hearts. Some didn't hold back at all as they cursed out loud. Who among them would ever believe that I was innocent of all that? I got the answer to that immediately. No one… I was dragged all the way to the Alpha's mansion as they were all looking at me. They were all cheerful as they knew that Alpha Cedric wasn't one that handed light sentences to defaulters. My heart was pounding against my ribs with each step that we took towards the Alpha's mansion. It felt like I would just drop dead from the tension before the alpha could tell me what my fate was. A few difficult moments later, I was at the door of the Alpha's chamber. The crowd had been stopped outside and that gave me a few seconds of silence where I could almost hear my heart pounding erratically as there was no sure way of telling what was going to come next. “Move it…!” one of the guards ordered harshly as he pushed me right through after the door had been opened. I nearly fell on my face, as I managed to use my hands to keep the music from falling completely. The humiliation was more than I could bear as the alpha and his council members were staring at me with so much disdain. There was nothing but hate in that room and I could feel it in my very bones. “Get on your feet…!” The guard who had pushed me down in the first place gave those orders before there was the sound of footsteps coming from behind me. I looked back to see Darren walking in, and at the same time I was nearly blinded by a hard slap to the face from the guard. “Keep your focus on the Alpha!” he yelled. “Good day, Alpha Cedric…” Darren said as he was looking quite pleased to make that presentation of his sister as the perpetrator behind the death of Beta Lance, my father. “I believe we have all seen the evidence against her and how she killed my father and the beta of the pack. What will your verdict be?” “We'll marry her off to one of the rogues…” one of the members of the council spoke up with an obvious hatred in his voice. I feared that the alpha would consent to that, and I was sure that it wouldn't be favorable at all. Those rogues would make my life miserable with their insatiable appetite for s*x. The other members of the Alpha's council kept on bringing up suggestions that made my heart skip terribly. But Alpha Cedric was still silent and that made me wonder what he would order me to do as my punishment. “I still can't believe you did this, Jane…” Alpha Cedric finally said something and that made my heart skip a few beats. “You will serve for the rest of your life in the dreaded Omega farmland… now take her away to the dungeon and make sure she is whipped…” “No, Alpha… no it wasn't me…” I kept on saying and no one was hearing me. That was just the beginning of my life's misery.
