They emerge only under the cover of night. They crave the dark, feast on flesh rather than fruits, and drink blood instead of sweet floral nectars. Their teeth are like silver needles, and their King rules with absolute cruelty. ​Su-ji, sitting by her window overlooking the glowing lanterns of Nimbii, stretched her broad, snowy wings.
