At the light pack
Fiona was arranging the dinner table along with other maids who were placing dishes on the table; they were all gossiping about Luke and Rose. Fiona just listened to them as she arranged the plate and fork in front of her.
"I think he doesn’t love her anymore; I caught him choking her," one of them said.
"I don’t believe you; why are they still together if he really did that to her?" Another one commented. Fiona was lost in a trance as she listened to them, thinking about how much she missed school and her parents, especially her little brother, who was her soul mate. A maid ran to her, holding a flyer. She pulled Fiona aside by the arm.
