Triston threw sand into the ground with the shovel he was using to dig a hole for Odette's coffin. He wasn’t the only one in the hole; Jake and some of his warriors were also there, helping him dig. He didn’t want to rest just because he was the alpha. Sage was standing close to Leo, hugging him as he was crying in her arms; he was the only one whom the death of Odette hurt a lot. They were all wearing black outfits. Diana was supervising the feet that Triston and the other warriors had dug.
"How did all this happen, mom? Who killed her?" Leo questioned Sage as he wept in her arms.
"You don’t need to worry about that, son; your father has taken care of that." She assured him, still stroking his back as he wept bitterly in her arms.
