"I can’t believe I was so stupid that I didn’t notice your kindness sooner. I was so stupid that I ignored you for Logan…I just wanna hit myself!" She yelled, slapping herself on the face continuously. I held her hand, preventing her from hitting herself anymore, as I stared at the red mark on her right cheek.
"Forget about all that and let’s eat; this night is for us; we should put aside any other thing." I said to her. She looked up at me, maintaining eye contact with me. "You are right..." she said, moving her lips.
"I…love you, Triston." She said, her words sparked a fire inside of me, the fire I never knew I had. I never knew I could be so happy, and when I heard those three words from her, it was surreal. I wanted to hear them from her again to assure myself that I wasn’t dreaming
