Standing outside Pearl's door, I couldn't help but admire her figure once more as she slipped inside. My heart pounded in my chest, filled with a mix of excitement and longing. The warmth of her hug lingered, and I wished it had lasted just a bit longer. As the door finally clicked shut, I whispered triumphantly, "Yes!" Progress was being made.
