♡ Chapter 14 ♡

1195 Words
I yawn about two hours later, and then try to remove an arm that was draped around me. “Jordan, I need to use the bathroom.” I mumbled while trying to wake up a very naked Jordan. Thank goodness it’s only 7:30 pm. We literally just ate our chick-fil-a then hooked up and fell asleep right afterwards. “Mm, just hold it in, I like sleeping next to you.” He mumbles, and good gosh that sexy morning voice. Although it’s not morning, his voice still sounds deep and attractive. “Ugh, I can’t, I have the bladder the size of a peanut.” I whined, while making a second attempt to remove his arm. “Mm, fine.” He grunted and took his arm off me. I crawled out of my bed. “Free at last.” I sighed happily while making my way to the bathroom. “Drama queen.” I hear him chuckle before I closed the bathroom door. “I heard that!” I yelled out to him, then closed the door. I then can hear him laughing just like those hyenas did in the Lion King. “What a jerk.” I mumbled then sat my naked ass down on the toilet.   ~♡~♡~ “I’m sorry I have to leave.” Jordan sighs whilst sticking his head out of his car window. “No, it’s fine.” I tell him truthfully. “Okay, well good night Alicia.” He says with a grin. I gave him one in return, then reached over and kissed him. Which he of course gave me another kiss back, and we had a miniature make out session right here on my driveway. But he was the first one to pull away. “If I don’t stop, then I’ll grab you and take you with me.” He tells me with a wink. “Well, that’s good to know.” I say with a blush. Jordan must have noticed my not so little blush, because of what he says. “I love the affect I have on you.” He chuckles, then starts his engine. “Just buckle up.” I muttered with embarrassment. “Okay I’m leaving now, bye.” Jordan says with a high-pitched voice and then pulls out of my driveway. He honked his car horn when he got on the street, and I waved goodbye to him making him wave back to me. Once he drove away, I was going to go back inside, when my mom’s 2010 white Mercedes pulls in the driveway. Making me stop and my heart dropped when my panicked mother pops her body out of the driver’s seat. “Get in Alicia, your father got rushed to the hospital, he just had a stroke.” My mother says coming up to me. This made gasp, and with a shaky breath I tell her. “Mom, let me get my phone.” I tell her with shaky hands. She thinks for a moment and then plays with her long thick black hair. “Yeah okay, I have to get some medical papers anyways.” She tells me whilst following me in. She runs into the master bedroom while I go into my own bedroom and grab my cellphone and wallet. I ran back outside and hop inside the passenger seat of my mom’s car. My mother then locks the door from behind her, carrying a file. “Is he going to be okay?” I ask her once she gets in the car. “I’m not sure Alicia.” She tells me and closes the door then buckles up. “Buckle up sweetie.” My mom tells me. I did what she told me to do, and then she drove out of the driveway. I’m just hoping and praying to God that he survives this stroke. “Your dad just isn’t having a good time these past few months.” My mom says whilst making a left and heading to the entrance of the neighborhood. “Yeah, I know, I feel bad.” I tell her as a matter of fact. “Well, don’t sweetie, don’t put your life on hold for him.” My mother tells me while still focusing on the road. I look at her with a frown and then look back down at my lap. “I just, well, it’ll feel like I’m just ditching my own dad.” I tell her while a frustrated sigh leaves out of my mouth. “He’s proud of you, that as soon as you graduate college, you get to become an independent woman that we raised you to be.” My mother explains to me as a matter of fact, her eyes still on the road. We both remained silent while we start making our way to the hospital. Once we made it inside, my mother and I walked up to the front desk. “Mom, your shirt is on inside out.” I whispered into her ear. She changed out of her dress and was wearing a burgundy tank top, with light grey Nike spandex shorts. “Not now Alicia, my husband is here, so my priority is on him then my looks.” My mom said with a sigh. Okay, f*****g married goals right there. I just don’t say anything, while my mom tries to get the lady at the desk attention. “Yes, how can I help you?” She asks me. “My husband was rushed here in an ambulance; he had a stroke.” My mother tells her while clearing her throat. The lady gave my mom a look of sympathy as she looked him up in the computer. “Oh yes, he’s doing fine now, he’s upstairs on the third-floor room 320 if you guys would like to see him now.” She tells my mom while handing her two visitors’ stickers. My mother hands me one and then puts her own sticker on her chest. “Yes, thank you.” My mom tells her and then we both head over to one of the elevators that were in the lobby. When we make it inside my dad’s room, he looked at the both of us with a shaky smile on his face. My mom instantly made her way over to his side. He grabs her hand, and then looks at her. “I’m fine, Alessa.” He tells her whilst giving her a kiss on the hand. “You scared me to death Brian.” She tells him with a sigh. “I know, I’m sorry.” He tells my mother. He then looks at me and smiles. “Now, what shall we have for dinner other than this nasty hospital food?” He asks the both of us. I just chuckled.
