♡ Chapter 13 ♡

1135 Words
Two days have gone by, and here I am, sitting in my English Comp class waiting for Jordan to freaking reply back to all of my messages. He hasn’t texted me all day yesterday, and to be honest here, I’m kind of freaking out over here.  “You want to play tic-tac-toe?” The blonde beach/surfer dude that sits right next to me, asks while handing me a pen. I sighed and put my phone back inside my backpack. Then take the pen from him. “Yeah sure, Nico.” I sighed then drew an O in the very middle. He then drew an X above it, then I drew an O on the right of the X, then he drew an X on the bottom left of it, then I drew an O under the middle O and then he drew an X on the top of his X, but I stupidly put my O somewhere else, and now he won the childish simple game. “Dammit.” I sighed in defeat. “Want to try again?” He asks me. “Nah, I’m okay, I’ll lose again.” I tell him. Just like I might have lost Jordan. “Don’t be so negative about yourself, just because you lost in one game of tic-tac-toe, doesn’t make you a loser of life.” Nico tells me as a matter of fact. “That’s true.” I tell him in agreement. He does have a point there. I then continue to focus on my class instead of on Jordan.   ~♡~♡~ While I was doing my homework, my phone buzzes, and I see it’s a text message from Jordan. Jordan: Hey, sorry, been busy how’s it going? I just scoffed at this message and then ignore it and focus on finishing up my homework. “I’ll text him later.” I tell myself out loud. He didn’t bother to text me all day yesterday, maybe he was with that girl that he was talking to on the phone two days ago. So, he can wait for me to respond back to his one text message. Just then my phone buzzes a few more times. Okay, so he can wait for me to respond to his five text messages, if they are even from him. I then kept on doing some more of my work. When I finish it, thirty minutes later, I decided to text Jordan back. I saw the rest of his messages on my lock screen. Jordan: Want me to call you? Jordan: I don’t care if you call me or not lol Jordan: Hey, so what are you doing? Then two more messages, but from my mother. Mom: We’re having Thanksgiving at your aunt’s home this year Mom: And your father is doing good, he survived a whole workday today  I smiled at my mom’s text messages, and then unlocked my screen and texted her back first before I even text what’s his face. Me: That’s really good mom, I’m glad he’s back to normal again Then I hit sent. Then opened up Jordan’s messages. Me: Sorry, just finished up my homework. Then sent it to him acting like I have no emotion whatsoever. I decided to go on my Twitter whilst I’m waiting for a reply from Jordan. Then, I get no response from Jordan. I checked on our conversation again, and I see that he left me on read. This makes me scoff and then plug my phone in to charge. I then decide to get some sleep early because I work a 9 am in the morning. So, I go inside my bathroom, and then start to brush my teeth, so after I do that, I walk back in my bedroom, and unclip my bra, and then crawl under my covers, then reach over and turn my lamp off. “Good night Jordan, you’re a stupid jerk.” I muttered to myself. Then welcomed sleep.   ~♡~♡~ It’s currently evening the following day, well 5 pm. “Gosh, I just want to relax.” I sighed whilst unlocking my door. Once I get inside, my iPhone starts ringing, and I grabbed it from my back pocket, and then see it’s Jordan calling me. “Hello there.” I tell him once I answer the phone. “Hey, are you home alone?” He asks me, while I’m hearing his blinker in the background. “Um, yeah I am.” I explained with a sigh. My parents decided to go out to eat at a dinner party hosted by some friends of theirs. Because they have a better social life than me for some reason. “Okay, I’m on my way over to your place.” He tells me as a matter of fact. I’m kind of on the fence about this, he was kind of acting like a jerk these past few days. But before I could interject, he says something that I can’t say no to. “I got some food for us to eat too.” He added. Damn him, I love free food. “I’ll leave the door unlocked then.” I tell him whilst taking my shoes off. “Okay, I’ll see you shortly.” He explains to me with a laugh. “Alright, see you then.” I tell him while making a fake smile on my face. After he hanged up, I sighed and took a seat in my living room. “Oh Jordan, you do know what a girl likes.” I say to myself, and then turn on my television in the living room. I then hear my door open and then close. “Alicia? It’s Jordan, where are you?” I hear Jordan yell out. “In the living room!” I shout back at him. I hear him laugh and then walk in the living room carrying a Chick-fil-a bag in one hand, and then a drink carrier full of hopefully some Chick-fil-a lemonade. “Wow, you look good in your work clothes.” Jordan says giving me a smirk. This makes me blush. “Let’s just eat, I’m so hungry.” I sighed with my cheeks tinted red. This makes Jordan laugh, and then take a seat next to me on my couch, and put the bag of goodness on the ottoman, along with the drinks.
