Through the Dark Side

Eddy returned to the black kingdom, Yusan. A place filled of horrified sculpture, deadly trees, demon like humans. The black kingdom was not a beautiful place, it was a nightmare for even a strong hearted person. People from the white kingdom used to call it the ‘Graveyard of Death’. The land does not consist of green plants but all dry grass, the trees also dried up and horrified.

The fort of Yusan king, Vilen was even more dangerous, it was merely impossible for any traitor to enter the palace without permission. The fort was built with the strongest stones available on the earth, unlike the Royal palace of Vasari it was not good in terms of beauty, but in terms of war and security it was at its best. The fort does not consist of beautiful chambers, but huge rooms with less furniture and more ammunition.

The fort consists of a huge meeting hall at the center, the hall was the place where the king would address his ministers. But the administrative process of Yusan was quite different, it does not consist of ministers but informers the final decision was taken by the king and no suggestions were asked. The topics discussed in the hall were not about the welfare of subjects but only war and ways to get the lost birds of fate.

Eddy used puppets encrypted with magic that work on as Eddy for short period of time, until the magic works on. Every time Eddy left for the white kingdom, he would keep his puppet at his place and leave for the Vasari. Eddy entered room through window, the puppet was sitting on a table and doing his work, as Eddy walked to the pot of water the puppet turned back and said, “A long way, isn’t it?” Eddy drank some water and went up to the puppet and spelled a magic on it and it turned into a wooden block.

Eddy was staring at the table when a fat man entered his room and said, “Vilen wants to see us. Come.” Eddy looked at the fat man and said, “Move on, I am coming.” the fat man left, Eddy whispered to himself, “b****y illiterate rhino.” It was Geld, the rhino. Geld was one of the strongest comrades of Vilen, he was the one to kill many warriors once when a war took place among the black kingdom and white kingdom.

Eddy went to the meeting hall in his way he heard someone shouting for him he turned back, it was Musa, the porcupine. Musa was one of the trustworthy comrades of Vilen, no one was a match for his beast form during battle. Musa came near Eddy and said, “I want you to fix some things for me.” “How can I help you?” Eddy asked. “You know I want a venom to be implanted in my thorns so can you make me a thing which would be able to do the task.” Musa replied. “I will try my best.” Eddy replied. “I trust you, well I will get some venom from Sap.” and he want to Sap.

Sap, the snake was the venom source of the black kingdom. He was the chief of the serpent army of black kingdom. It was believed that once his venom would touch any creature, it would destroy the creature in seconds. Eddy stopped and stared at Sap, when suddenly someone tapped his shoulder, Eddy turned around it was Illusion, the chameleon. Illusion was the master of magic; he would change his disguise and look like anyone he once touched. It was said that he had now acquired the power of creating a world using thoughts of person and engaging the person into it. “Side please.” Illusion spoke to Eddy. Eddy moved aside and let him go.

Everyone who had arrived at the place took their seats. Then entered many warriors of the black kingdom, Rass; the hyena, Form; the vulture, Bison; the bull, Grom; the alligator and many more. Then entered the only lady warrior and the right hand of Vilen; Aski, the lizard. Like her cousin Illusion, Aski was also an expert in magic and she was intelligent as well, once in teenage Vilen was attacked by Tam and Thrash, it was difficult to escape and Vilen was about to be captured at such time it was Aski who saved him.

Aski took her place in the meeting, everyone stood on their places and then came Vilen, from the darkness behind the throne. No one had ever seen Vilen’s face, he always used to live in the darkness. Even if he entered the light his face would be covered by mask. He was a tall guy, wearing long black robe that would cover his whole body. His comrades got only orders form him he never showed anyone his face.

Ash sat on the throne and then signaled everyone else to sit down. Then in rough, dark voice he said, “Begin.” Aski got from her place and started, “Brave comrades, the news from opponent says that our plan of spreading venom has been countered by the opponent. Now we must start strengthening our powers and cut the branches of the upgrowing tree of Vasari. The meeting has been called to assign you people task that you have to carry out for Yusan. You will soon get the list of tasks that you have to perform, as we suspect that there is a spy of enemy in our place from here onwards things will be carried out in a secret way. We want you to keep things secret. For now, go back to your rooms a message is waiting for you in the room.”

Everyone got up and started walking to their rooms, Eddy was also moving towards his room and was thinking how to obtain information about the others. Things were becoming no good; he could sense something worse was going to come.
