It was late now I moved back to my home. Laurence was waiting for me in hall.

Laurence : So, you back?

Me : Laurence I just got my conscious back today.

Laurence : By that I remember where were you whole day ?

Me : I was with Mia and Xavier.

Laurence : That backbiter, I got to know she was the one who told Alpha about me beating you. I’ll deal with her later and she will pay for it.

(With that my blood shot up and I lost my anger, first time in years I felt Rain taking over again)

(Laurence was now trembling on her legs, this was good to see her like this but I have to talk to Rain now)

Me : Rain what is happening why is she so scared of you.

Rain : Darling she knows that when a wolf gets immune to silver its time she can take down anyone. And for your information I wasn’t keeping you away or wasn’t weak I was only giving myself time to prepare to save you all my life. Me : Rain I appreciate your power and concern but remember dad took my last word I will always have to be faithful for this pack and people.

Me : No Rain, we can’t please. Please let me have the control back. We can’t go, not until we get our mate, he’ll make us complete and strong again. Please.

Rain : As you say girl, I know you are right, mate will come for us one day, I’m sorry I got mad over her speaking about Mia. Mia is now the mate of Xavier and we can’t let anything happen to her. Me : Of course Rain we can’t let anything happen to Mia and we will safe guard her from everything even if it mean us dead but I promise you I will never let that happen to them or us.

(With that conversation end I took control back and now Laurence was back to her nasty nature when she saw it’s me back, she grabbed with my hair and took me to room locked me up, this time she even locked me from neck with chains having wolf’s bane. This surely gonna hurt me more than I could guess)

Mia and Xavier were now married they couldn’t resist the mate’s bond and got married instantly after a week.

I as promised was the bride’s maid and Xavier had his cousin Antony as his groom’s man. Things were been a bit tough on me after their marriage as now Xavier didn’t wanted his mate to serve food to other people and let them look at her with greedy eyes. Now Mia doesn’t live in basement too and it’s empty here without her.

Laurence on the other side was still the same and used wolf’s bane again on me, may be she was afraid of me getting immune to it too but she wanted to keep me locked and completely away from my wolf. She would practically be out of her punishment if I would resist wolf’s bane too.

When she locked me last time from my neck with it I still have it’s mark and I have to now carry a scarf to hide it from anyone.

Also I had seen few changes in Alpha Daniel, he had started getting a whole lot nicer and touchy with me. I feel disgust with it but whenever he talks to me now he makes sure our skin touches. That’s gross I know’ but he is Alpha and we don’t have a Luna since the war, so whom can I complaint too. Well I did told about it few times to Xavier and he practically tried to kill Alpha but for the sake of Mia and her coming child I told him to swore he won’t do anything. He had to stay calm. They were gonna be parents now. I can’t risk them to be rouges or to my worst thought to get killed.
